FAST Half Way To Goal

FAST is proud to announce that their 2010 Annual Fund Drive is half way to their goal of $100,000.00.

The 2010 Annual Fund drive began at the end of March with the mail out of the Annual Fund Brochure to active participants in the showing of Tennessee Walking Horses.  Donors were asked for contributions and were given a choice of the fund or initiative that was of interest to them.  The overwhelming response from donors has been to the Preservation & Promotion of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse Fund.

2010 Annual Fund Total as of June 01, 2010                               $50,728.40

"What a great start toward reaching our goal for 2010.  Every dollar is critical to ensuring a positive impact for the Tennessee Walking Show Horse.  FAST is excited about the degree of participation shown so far and we thank each and everyone who has donated to the foundation.  We need the momentum to continue until we can all celebrate reaching our goal for this year.  Since the inception of FAST almost one year ago, $53,500.00 in Grants have been made back to the industry to aid in the preservation of horse shows and to assist in the protection of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse.  Future donations will help us to be able to fulfill the other half of our initiative, which is the promotion of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse,” stated Mike Inman, President.

According to Kathy Zeis, FAST Secretary/Treasurer, "Horse shows and competition are part of our American heritage and there is no better way to enjoy one's leisure time than socializing with friends, meeting new friends and cheering on your favorite Tennessee Walking Show Horse.  What better way to support your favorite hobby than to donate to a foundation whose goal is to place 100% of all funds raised back into the industry we all love and enjoy."

The Showcase Horse Show, put on by FAST, will take place on the Fourth of July in the Calsonic Arena, Shelbyville, TN.  .  Come join the fun and celebrate the birth of America by showing your Tennessee Walking Show Horse.  FAST is an IRS 501 (C) 3 Charitable Organization and donations are tax deductible as allowed by law
