Thursday, November 29, 2012
(November 29, 2012 Shelbyville, Tennessee) – The Foundation for the Advancement and Support of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse (FAST) recently issued a $2,000 matching grant to the Tennessee Walking Horse National Museum. The parameters for the grant called for a $2,000 grant from FAST when the Tennessee Walking Horse National Museum raised $10,000.
In 2012, the Tennessee Walking Horse National Museum, located in historic Wartrace, Tenn. raised over $16,000 thus meeting the criteria for the grant from FAST. “We at FAST are delighted to help the museum preserve the historical significance of the Tennessee Walking Horse as well as provide the educational background to visitors of the museum,” said Kathy Zeis.
FAST is a 501 (c)3 organization that’s mission is to promote and preserve the Tennessee Walking Show Horse. All donations are tax deductible and are put to immediate use in the industry. For more information or to make a donation visit FAST online at www.FASTWalkingShowHorse.org
