FAST Scholarship Deadline



There have been several inquiries about the deadline for the FAST Scholarships Application as the deadline was changed.  This year’s deadline will be July 01, 2011.  If you are interested in applying please go on-line to www.FASTwalkingshowhorse.org and download a scholarship application and mail it in by July 01, 2011.  Applications post marked after 6:00 p. m. July 01, 2011 will not be considered.  Please be aware that FAST scholarships will be awarded to Trade Schools too. For Example: Farrier Schools and Vet Tech programs.  Please call for more information.

The Scholarships will be based on academic performance (30%), need (30%), equine involvement (30%) and extracurricular activities (10%).  No incomplete applications will be considered.  FAST is a 501 C 3 and is dedicated to the preservation, protection and promotion of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse through education and funding of Walking Horse Industry programs and initiatives.  The FAST Scholarship committee is Brenda Carlon, Chairperson, Jo Anne Dempsey, and Kathy Zeis.  If you have any questions e-mail FAST at info@fastwalkingshowhorse.org. FAST is seeking scholarship donations, if you would like to make a donation to the FAST Scholarship Fund you may mail directly to FAST, Inc., P. O. Box 259, Shelbyville, TN, 37162 or go on-line and make a donation using PayPal.  Please designate your donation to the Scholarship Program.
