The Walking Horse Report generously donated $100.00 for every ad in the Amateur-Youth edition of the Report in May, to FAST’s 2011 Scholarship Program. Due to this generosity, FAST was able to give nine scholarships. Applications for scholarships were due in to the FAST scholarship committee by July 01, 2011. The FAST scholarship committee consisted of Jo Anne Dempsey, Molly Walters and chairperson, Brenda Carlon. The Wink Groover Scholarship Fund is donated by Mrs. Nancy Groover and is set up to help children of Tennessee Walking Horse trainers and trainers themselves to obtain higher education.
FAST, Inc. is very proud of all our 2011 Scholarship recipients. The 2011 Scholarships will be presented at The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration.
