The classes of First Presbyterian Church Parent's Day Out program enjoyed a
field trip to Joe Fleming Stables.

The warm weather and the staff of Joe Fleming Stables welcomed the children’s classes from the First Presbyterian Church Parent’s Day Out program of Shelbyville, Tenn. on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Trainers Joe Fleming and Justin Harris, along with Harris’ wife, Slayden, took the 30-40 children and parents on a tour of the barn, but not before handing out carrots for the kids to feed to A Private Benjamin and Rocky Mountain Sky.

With carrots fed and all of the horses in the barn receiving a multitude of pats on the nose, the children were treated to sitting on and riding the mentioned champions.  Once everyone had their turn, the group then retreated with lunch boxes in hand for lunch at the Harris’ residence.
