The Midnight Sun Charity Horse Show and Festival has released their class schedule featuring seven Rider’s Cup Classes. The end of the season points race is intense in the fall, and with over $30,000 in prize money plus Rider’s Cup points on the line, Midnight Sun is shaping up to be a competitive horse show.

This year’s event is the fifth annual horse show sponsored by the Brooks County Museum and Cultural Center that is truly a festival of fun activities. The Mansion at Dixie Plantation, home of the legendary World Grand Champion Tennessee Walking Horse Midnight Sun, is open for tours. From Wednesday October 1 to Saturday October 4, the festivities include a fashion show and luncheon at the historic mansion at Dixie Plantation, an antique show house and sale, a trail ride, a gala dinner and dance, and of course two nights of outstanding Tennessee Walking Horses.

The judges for the 2008 show are Wayne Abee, “Smokey” Carswell, and Huck Moss. Stall reservations are due by September 10.
