The final night for the Fun Show continued with great talent even though there were less entries. There were 148 entries for the evening in 17 classes bringing the total to 531 for the weekend. The show went on smoothly with USDA VMO’s present for the third night in a row.

The Ferguson Farms Riders’ Cup Grand Championship was very exciting with World “Grand”-class competition. There were five entries, and out of those, two are World Grand Champions and one was last year’s Walking Horse Reserve World Grand Champion. Rowdy Rev and Bill Bobo came out on top for the second consecutive year. Rowdy Rev won the Trainers’ Show earlier this year making him two for two this season and a top contender for the Celebration title. He is owned by legendary Harlinsdale Farm. Two-time World Grand Champion Gen On The Run and Justin Harris were reserve in the good class for Michael and Ty Hart. Another two-time World Grand Champion PGA and his new trainer Joel Weaver collected the yellow ribbon for Robbie Lanier.

Over the course of their careers these three talented stallions have accumulated 34 blue ribbons for their proud sires, The Revelation (Rowdy Rev), Gen’s Armed & Dangerous (Gen On The Run) and Seve (PGA).

The blues were spread around different barns, a common theme from the judging panel of Gene “Smokey” Carswell, Mike McCormick and Jennifer Davis all week. Bruce Hankins Stables took Marquita By Design to dual blues on Saturday night. World Grand Champion Marquita By Design won the Owner-Amateur Plantation Lite-Shod division with owner Kelly Sherman and the Western Plantation Lite-Shod with Bruce Hankins. Continuing a good season, these make her fourth and fifth victories of the season.

Amanda Winters also had dual blues with Out A My Way in both the Yearling Fillies and Geldings and the Owner-Amateur Yearlings for Wright and Winters. She has also won the Trainers’ Show and Gallatin. This filly is by Out On Parole just like the filly Winters showed last year and won the Yearling World Grand Championship with.

Rising Star Ranch had two wins. Bobo Farms, Chad Williams Stables, Scott Beaty, Tim Smith Stables, Joe Fleming Stables, Alan Callaway Stables, Steve Hankins Stables, Chris Richards, Brock Tillman, Steve Aymett Stables and Finish Line Farms all had one win.
