The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration will postpone the 50th Annual Spring Fun Show in accordance with state and local health guidelines.  Due to Governor Lee’s Executive Order 30, venues such as The Celebration will not be allowed to be open thus making having the Fun Show on its traditional date of Memorial Day weekend not possible.

The Celebration held out hope that Governor Lee would provide the go ahead for the show given all of the safety measures that the Celebration was preparing for the show.  Those included social distancing in seating, moving the show outdoors, utilizing multiple warmup arenas, sanitizing each chair after each performance among others.

“We are disappointed but understand the health of our trainers, exhibitors and fans is paramount and we have said all along we would follow state and local guidelines,” said Celebration CEO Mike Inman.  The new date will be the week before the traditional 4th of July weekend shows making for two big weekends back-to-back.

“We are still excited to celebrate our 50th year of the Fun Show and even though it will be at a different time, the same excitement, competition and prestigious titles will be handed out at the Spring Fun Show,” concluded Inman.

More information about the show will be forthcoming in the next several weeks.
