Gardner Benefit A Success
Tuesday, December 11, 2007
The benefit for Dickie & Misti Gardner was a huge success. The TN Walking Horse & Spotted Saddle Horse industries joined to host a steak dinner and auction and raised over $45,000. Items were donated by local businesses, friends and horse lovers. There were around 500 in attendance. ”We would like to thank everyone who has made this possible, the Walking Horse and Saddle Horse Industries and the communities have really pulled together and we thank you" stated Gardner.
Some of the items offered for sale were two autographed Sheryl Crow guitars which brought a total of $3600, stud fees to top show horses, furniture, antiques, saddles and other tack, decorative items for the home and all kinds of horse items. The dinner was at 6pm and the auction around 7:30 and lasted until midnight.
Dickie Gardner Stables will temporary be located at Ray Bennett Stables in Lewisburg, Tennessee.
