The 2008 Tennessee Walking Horse World Champion team of Hello Generator and Jayden Jackson led the MTSU football team to the field at Floyd Stadium on Saturday, September 6, 2008. Jayden was the youngest rider to ever exhibit, and she is the only person that has not been a student, alumni or teacher to exhibit at an MTSU game. Jackson’s mother and stepfather, Jacquelyn and Andy Brantley, attended MTSU and her grandfather, Jack Heffington, is a former Professor and current Guest Lecturer at the college.
Thousands of fans, mostly students, celebrated the highest-profile home win in school history with the Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee dominating Maryland with a 24-14 win.
Hello Generator and Jayden Jackson enjoyed their ride across the field and were thrilled to be the lucky charm for the big event!
