Germantown Walking Mares and Geldings Amateur Specialty Being Retied

An Apprentice in the NHSC Judges Program was serving in his apprentice duties at the Germantown Charity Horse Show on June 3, 2003, this Apprentice showed in class #262, Walking Mares and Geldings Amateur Specialty, and placed second.

According to the NHSC Official Rule Book, Rule VII, Article A, Section 3 (d):

An Apprentice Judge may not show in the shows in which he or she is apprenticing.

The NHSC feels sure the Apprentice was unaware that he was in violation of said rule, but in the interest of fairness and integrity the NHSC must disqualify him and retie the class.
