JACKSON, Tenn. - The Mid-South Horse Show Association teamed up with The Star Center put on its 21st annual show at the Pugh Borne Park on July 11, 2009. The Star Center serves families with disabilities in 21 counties throughout West Tennessee. The center provides educational, employment and independence needs. Bill Bobo of Shelbyville, Tenn., judged the 31-class event.

Five horses answered the gate call for the Riders’ Cup Walking Stake. The Tommy Jowers family was very excited when the name Puttin Cash On The Line and Ray Gilmer were called to receive the blue ribbon award. Second in the stake went to Brock Tillman and Armed Dangerous Premier for Dr. Kemp Higginbothom.
