Governor Fletcher Signs Bill into Law Today

We are pleased to advise you that Governor Fletcher will sign House Bill 272 into law including its provisions supporting the horse industry. As you know, the bill provides for a breeder incentive fund for all breeds, which will encourage breeding and foaling horses in Kentucky. The bill signing is March 18th, at 11:00 on the steps of the Capitol in Frankfort. We invite you all to come and participate in this important event. The bill also removes the tax provision that encourage non-resident owners to move their horses out of Kentucky for training.
