A historic breeding farm in Williamson County may soon be a public park. Harlinsdale Farm owners are planning to sell the 200-acre property that sits on Franklin Road to the City of Franklin and Williamson County. In an effort to keep the property preserved and centered around horses, the farm will remain. A proposal will be presented by July 31st. Project backers think Williamson County residents will support the park project though the land will cost several million dollars. The farm has been in the Harlin family since 1932. Harlinsdale is currently standing such stallions as Classic Generator, Gold Power, Sweepstakes, Juke Walkin’, and 2002 World Grand Champion, Out On Parole.
