Hershel Talley, longtime Tennessee Walking Horse trainer, owner and exhibitor, passed away at his home on February 27 after an extended illness.

Williams McCracken Funeral Home in Cullman, Ala., is handling the arrangements and the funeral will be held today, March 1, at 2:00 p.m. in Baileyton, Ala.

Mr. Talley is survived by his wife Dorothy Smith Talley; his son Van Buren Talley; his two daughters Priscilla Ann Talley and Nanette Talley Clark; and two grandchildren.
