The locations and times for the remaining two Horse Protection Technology Meetings have been finalized.

The first meeting will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Temecula, CA this Thursday, October 21from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm.  The second will be held at the LaQuinta Inn in Federal Way, WA on Saturday, October 23 from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

The meeting agenda will provide an overview of the Horse Protection Program, and address USDA's efforts in thermography and gas chromatograpahy (sniffer) technologies.  In addition, we will be discussing issues in horse protection with the attendees.  We STRONGLY encourage questions and comments from the attendees in order to clear up any misconceptions about the program.  Dr. Todd Behre, the Horse Protection Coordinator will be available along with Dr. Clem Dussault and Dr. Lynn Bourgeois, VMO's.
