Multi-Champion MG Above The Rest owned by Tom and Sissy Weese was laid to rest due to complications of colic on September 20, 2006, at the UT Veterinarian Medical Hospital in Knoxville, Tenn. Always the crowd favorite MG Above The Rest was trained by Abee Stables also know as the “A” team.

This stallion claimed multiple stake class victories and most recently finished fourth in the Aged Stallion class Div. B at this years Celebration. MG was also one of the final three that was eligible to show in the 2006 World Grand Championship class before it was cancelled.

MG Above The Rest will be laid to rest at Abee Stables in Valdese, NC which he called home for more than seven years.
