International Announces 2011 Format

The 33rd Annual International Grand Championships will be held in the format used prior to 2010. The International Pleasure and Colt Show will be held July 25-29, 2011, and the International Performance Show will be held October 27-29, 2011. Both shows will be held at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

The International is the biggest event each year for the Walking Horse Owners’ Association with over 2000 entries participating annually making the International Grand Championships the second largest Walking Horse show in the World.

The International Pleasure & Colt Show will consist of 150 plus classes and will be affiliated with the WHOA HIO.  The affiliation of the International Performance Show will be announced at a later date. “Due to overwhelming requests, we are proud to announce the Performance Show will take place in the Fall this year. We look forward to a great Pleasure & Colt Show in late July as well and hope everyone will participate and enjoy these events”, said Tommy Hall, Executive Director of WHOA.
