SPRING HILL, Tenn. – The 27th annual Spring Hill Lions Club Horse Show lived up to its nickname as “The Best Little Horse Show in Tennessee” once again when it brought to a close the pre-Celebration show season. This year the show was held Aug. 15, 2009. Russ Keyser of Wendeng, Germany was the judge for the 24 classes of the evening. It is always held at the Spring Hill Ball Park and the ring is usually the baseball field. Since the track was grass, all classes were specialty classes to prevent slipping.
Ten competitive entries made their way into the ring for the Stake class. Jazz Man’s Babalu and Charlie Green made an outstanding show to make the victory pass in the excellent class for Ben and Dr. Lynda Brogdon. Teddy Baseball and John Allen were reserve for Ralph and Judy Allen. Jose Local Talent and Chad Way were reserve for Jimmy Reece.
