Joe Martin Stables Hosts Christmas Barbecue

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. - Over 500 people enjoyed delicious barbecued chicken and pork chops at the annual Christmas Barbecue that was sponsored by Joe and Cena Martin of Joe Martin Stables. The gala event was held Dec. 20, 2004. Those present enjoyed Cena Martin’s traditional coconut cake (Rumors have it that it is the best in the South.) In addition to the fabulous food, conversation and viewing the famed stallions this stable is known for, many gathered around the televisions to view some of the champions in action.
