John Freeman of Lebanon, Tenn. and long term walking horse enthusiast was injured earlier this week while loading some yearlings into a trailer.  The yearlings panicked, came out of the trailer, trampling him and dragging him approximately 40 feet.  Freeman underwent surgery at Baptist hospital and had a pin and plate put in his crushed hand, and may need skin grafts.  Jokingly Freeman said he thought he was “John Wayne”.

Meanwhile, wife Betty Freeman is continuing her fight with cancer.  She goes back to Vanderbilt on Friday, April 6, for a full scan to see if her chemotherapy treatments are working.  Please keep the Freemans in your prayers.
