Judge Wayne Abee Placed On Probation

Copyright 2005 WHR - NHSC Director of Judges Judy Martin has placed Wayne Abee on probation for one year for violating two rules during the 2004 Celebration. Abee was informed of his penalty by letter dated January 5, 2005.
The probation will run from Feb. 1, 2005 until Feb. 1, 2006 and, according to the letter, "your judging during this period of time will be closely monitored by me and if further violations occur, your license may be suspended or revoked."
According to the letter, Martin said "you are in violation of Rule VII, Article F, Section 2: Horses shall be worked both ways of the ring at all required gaits sufficiently for all horses to have performed before each officiating judge . . . ".
Additionally Martin charged in the letter "On page 101 of the NHSC Rule Book - Rule VII, Article#, Section 1: After a judge's license has been issued to any person and such judge shall demonstrate lack of competence, skill, integrity, cooperation, or the desire to deport himself in a manner as to be worthy of a judge, the license of such judge may be suspended or revoked by the NHSC Director of Judges and Horse Shows in the manner and upon such notice as is herein provided."
