SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration announced its judging panel for the 40th Annual Spring Fun Show on Tuesday.  The list is comprised of three respected members of the walking horse community.

Scotty Brooks of Bowling Green, Ky., Rodney Dick of Unionville, Tn., and Jeff Willis of Shelbyville have been selected to adjudicate the proceedings at this year’s Spring Fun Show.

Brooks judged the Fun Show back in 2006, but it will be the first Fun Show assignment for both Dick and Willis.

“I’m very happy with the group we have been able to put together for this year’s show,” said Celebration CEO and show manager Dr. Doyle Meadows. “We’ve had a good deal of input from industry professionals and the individuals selected were names we kept hearing.”

“It was important for us to get a good mix of experience levels,” said Meadows.  “The bottom line is that I expect this group to do a great job working together to make sure the best horse in each class is rewarded for their efforts.”

The 2010 Spring Fun Show will feature 52 classes this year.  A full schedule of classes is available on The Celebration website (www.twhnc.com).

The Celebration Spring Fun Show is scheduled for May 27-29 in the Outdoor Arena on The Historic Celebration Grounds in Shelbyville.
