It’s A Jungle Out There

by Ashlea Wheelon

MANCHESTER, Tenn. - On May 3, 2008, the Manchester Lions Club held their 53rd annual horse show at the Coffee County Fairgrounds. With over 200 entries, this historical show was a success. Closing out the evening were Charlie Green and King Of The Jungle for proud owner Nestor Stewart of McMinnville, Tenn.

Manchester is always a great show but was exceptional for Robert Cortner when he has won the 11 & Under class four times.  "We have so many great memories of Manchester and Robert. He has won the 11 & Under class there four times.  This is his last year in the 11 & Under so it made this win all that more special," stated Jim Cortner.

Many barns won multiple blues including Chad Williams Stables, Doug Barnes Stables, Joe Martin Stables, Joe Fleming Stables, Winky Groover Stables and Charlie Green Stables.
