BRODHEAD, Ky. – The Brodhead Lions Club held their annual horse show on Saturday, May 24, 2008. Show Manager Roger Brey said that this was won of the largest shows that they have had in many years and that they were really pleased with the overwhelming amount of support and participation that was poured out for the show.

Lucinda Hancock of Olive Hill, Ky., judged the 32-class event. The talk of the show were Jennifer Zeller and Buster’s Final Edition when they made their debut in the Three-Year-Old Amateur class and rode out in winning form under the direction of J & H Stables. Another highlight of the show were the 20 entries in the Walking Yearling class. Leann Renner and Cover Charge’s Cover Girl claimed their seventh blue in a row from this class and are undefeated in this division so far.

Kevin Bailey of Russell Springs, Ky., was armed with the blue as he rode out of the Walking Stake class aboard I’m Armed To The Max for Greenview Farms of Yosemite, Ky.
