The Kentucky Walking Horse Association Board of Directors voted to not have the Kentucky Celebration judges ballots sent to a Certified Public Accountant to be counted this year. The ballots will be mailed to the Secretary Lynn Oliver for counting.

Any member of the KWHA who wishes to be in attendance when the votes are counted may do so. The general membership will be notified and extended an invitation at that time. This decision, which was voted on at a previous meeting, will save KWHA $2,200.

Some board members brought up the idea of pulling names of judges from a hat to judge the four-day event. The names would have been drawn prior to each class and would have been free to the association. The association would have saved $6,000 by doing this, however, the motion was not approved.
