KWHA announces KY Celebration judges

The Kentucky Walking Horse Association has selected their judges for the 2018 Kentucky Celebration. The judging panel will consist of Allen McQuerry, Keith Becknell and Daniel Carmichael. The Kentucky Celebration will be held Sept. 21-22 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.

The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration recently hired Travis Emore to be the Director of Arena Operations and Events. Emore will directly oversee the operations of Cooper Steel Arena, as well as also function as a member of the senior leadership team at The Celebration. Emore comes to The Celebration from Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro.

President Bill Young is pleased to announce the Walking Horse Trainers’ Association office relocation to the historic Tennessee Walking Horse Celebration grounds has been completed. The new WHTA office is in the old Gift Shop building which has been home to Shane Shiflet Photography during the Celebration for the past several years.
