Letter To The Editor

Dear Editor,
I have thoroughly enjoyed the Memory Lane articles by Sarah Miller. I especially enjoyed the most recent one about Mack and Jane Hollis. Although I do not know Mr. or Mrs. Hollis, their two gray mares, Beloved Belinda and Masterpiece Miss, were so interesting. I have a personal pride in the interesting story of these mares and their get as I own two times WC Gray’s Elegy. His mother and grandmother come to life in your pages. This letter may sound self-serving as I concede it probably is, but I am so proud of my beloved Gray and am so happy to finally learn of his roots. This article certainly brightened my day. Please pass my gratitude on to Ms. Miller.

Thanks,
Jeanne Harrison
