Letter to the editor - Meredith

Dear David and Christy,
I wanted to take a moment to thank you both for your encouragement and support of the Academy Program. Your recognition of the importance of this program to the future of the Tennessee Walking Horse Industry will significantly impact its success. TWHBEA and WHOA are both committed to creating a strong Academy Program. As you told me David, it will take a lot of hard work. Volunteers from both TWHBEA and WHOA are determined to make this a reality.

Our first Winter Tournaments are upon us. TWHBEA is the sponsor with WHOA contributing the ribbons. I am very excited about the up coming shows:

January 11, 2003, Highland Stables, Bowling Green, Kentucky
January 25, 2003, Midland Equestrian Center, Shelbyville, TN
February 8, 2003, Highland Stables, Bowling Green, Kentucky
February 22, 2002, Midland Equestrian Center, Shelbyville, TN
There are a couple of things I would like everyone to remember. First, a riding program introduces our horse to a new audience. Secondly, as we grow we will make mistakes and hopefully learn from them. Last, but not least, Academy Shows and Classes are supposed to be fun! We look forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming shows.

  Sincerely yours,
  Jane Hardy Meredith

P.S. For additional information concerning The Winter Tournaments, please contact Joni Jenne at TWHBEA, 800-359-1574.
