Letter To The Editor-Jamie Clifton
Friday, September 14, 2007
On behalf of Volunteer Equine Advocates, Inc., I would like to say a big "Thank You!!!" to the Walking Horse Trainers Association for the donation they made to help care for the seized horses from Marshall County. 3 round rolls of hay and 10 bags of grain were delivered to help VEA feed the horses placed in our care by the Marshall County Sheriff's Department on August 4th, 2007. On August 28th, the horse's owner, Derek Ulmer appeared before the General Session Court Judge and relinquished ownership of all 16 of the seized horses. The next hearing is set for October 9th, 2007. For adoption information for these and other horses please visit the VEA web site at www.VEA-TnHorseRescue.org
Thank you WHTA!
Jamie Clifton
Chairman, VEA
