A Little Bit of NASCAR Thunders Into International Grand Championship With "Horsepower"

The No. 13 FarmPaint.com Chevrolet Silverado of ThorSport Racing, driven by current NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship contender Johnny Sauter, will be on display at the International Grand Championship Performance Walking Horse Show at Tennessee Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tenn. from November 18-19, 2011. A pivotal weekend, Sauter will be racing for the Championship on November 18, 2011, at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Miami, Fla. - sitting just 20 points back in second place overall.

ThorSport Racing, based in Sandusky, Ohio and owned by Duke and Rhonda Thorson, is the longest tenured NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team - fielding 578 total starts since July 1996 at the Milwaukee Mile. NASCAR's only Ohio-based team currently runs the No. 88 Menards Chevrolet Silverado driven by Matt Crafton; the No. 13 Safe Auto/Curb Records Chevrolet driven by Johnny Sauter; and the No. 98 Ferrell Gas/Agrisure Chevrolet driven by Dakoda Armstrong. Both Crafton and Sauter finished top five in driver points in 2010 & 11. In 2011, ThorSport Racing moved into a state-of-the-art, world-class 100,000 square foot racing facility in Sandusky.
