In early April, Liz Gassaway received news that spots of cancer were found on her brain. Gassaway was scheduled to start a clinical trial at Sarah Cannon Cancer Center and was having some routine testing done for the trial when it was discovered. The doctors set into motion right away and were immediately able to get her into Murfreesboro. Gassaway started radiation on Monday, April 13 and took 10 treatments over two weeks. She is now waiting on results from a new brain scan to see if she is able to begin her clinical trial.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with with Liz, Mitchell and her mom Nancy.
