Lizzie Umberger Memorial Scholarship Recipients

The Mississippi Walking Horse Association is pleased to announce that David Huff, son of Mark and Debbie Huff of Brandon, Miss., and Harrison Tew, son of Scott and Elizabeth Tew of Ellisville, Miss., are this year's recipients of the Lizzie Umberger Memorial Scholarship Fund. Both will receive a $500.00 scholarship to help with their academic pursuits.
Harrison plans to attend Jones Junior College before going into world missions, while David plans to attend Mississippi State University and major in Civil Engineering.
David and Harrison were selected for this honor based on their moral character, academic achievement, and participation in the Mississippi Walking Horse Association and involvement in the Tennessee Walking Horse breed. The MWHA is very proud of Harrison and David and congratulates them on their achievements.
