McConnell Reaches Plea Agreement

Jackie McConnell pleaded guilty to 12 of 22 misdemeanor counts of animal abuse in state court on July 9, 2013. As part of his plea agreement McConnell was sentenced to one year of house arrest, fined $25,000 and given four years of probation. McConnell was also not allowed to own, train or house horses for 20 years as part of his agreement.
Jeff Dockery and John Mays received probation.
