A Midnight Touch and J.T. Olds Top Bourbon County
Thursday, June 26, 2008
PARIS, Ky. – The Bourbon County Fair and Horse Show was held Saturday, June 21. It was a great night for a horse show with good weather, a great atmosphere, the sun shining, along with a farris wheel and music playing in the background.
Dick Myers served as judge for the 24-class event, while Gene Wright kept the horses moving with the music from his organ. It was the team of A Midnight Touch and J.T. Olds who had the right touch to top the Walking Horse Championship class for the Olds Farm.
The Bourbon County Fair and Horse Show continues to grow with each year. There were a total of 136 entries this year for the show. They would like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting the show and would like to invite everyone back next year to make it an even bigger success.
