MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Walking Horse Owners’ Association has announced the cancellation of the Open House, Colt Preview and Chili Supper at the new Tennessee Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Because of construction delays, MTSU has canceled all events scheduled during the month of February at the Miller Coliseum. Unfortunately, this includes those events previously planned for Friday evening, February 14, 2003. Plans are underway to hold the Open House and free Chili Supper sometime in the spring so that all can see the new facilities and enjoy Hoss Cartwright’s famous chili! All meetings on Saturday are still at the Miller Reception House adjacent to the coliseum on Thompson Lane. The awards banquet will continue as planned for Saturday evening at the James Union Building on the MTSU campus.
