NACOGDOCHES, Texas. – The eighth annual Texas Spring Classic Horse Show was held on April 17-18, 2009, at the Nacogdoches Expo Center in Nacogdoches, Texas. Joel Nipper of Cleveland, Tenn., judged the event. This show benefited St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Six USDA VMOs showed up on Friday night and returned on Saturday night. Although the inspection process was lengthy, the VMOs were very responsive in their explanation of the new procedures. The show had 209 entries with only five violations written and two being in conflict resolution.
