NCWHA Fall TIP Show Cancelled

The NCWHA Fall TIP Show originally scheduled for Saturday, November 5, 2011, in Yadkinville, N.C., has been cancelled due to lack of sufficient funding. Show management looks forward to a 2012 edition of the TIP show and appreciates all who had pledged their support.

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – The traditional Stick Horse class commenced at 6:40 on Saturday evening, sponsored by Sugar Creek Farms and Creekview Farms. Steve Buttleman played the Kentucky Derby theme to welcome everyone. Everyone got a blue ribbon and a Purity ice cream coupon for participating. Kingland Kids and Steve Buttleman also made sure everyone had a glow-in-the-dark necklace as well.

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – Friday night has long been Patriotic Night at The Celebration, where everyone dons their red, white and blue. It is a celebration of freedom and those who fought hard to maintain that freedom. This year was especially poignant as the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence was commemorated earlier this year.

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. –Tonight was the first full night of world grand championship classes. It was also dubbed Throwback Thursday, where spectators and exhibitors alike celebrated the rich history of this great breed. They especially commemorated Betty Sain, the first female trainer to win a World Grand Championship exactly 60 years ago.
