NHSC Reverses Trail Pleasure Ruling
Monday, November 24, 2008
The National Horse Show Commission (NHSC) met on November 24, 2008 and reversed its earlier vote to allow horse shows to offer an Open Trail Pleasure class. In their meeting on October 31, 2008 the NHSC voted to allow horse shows with an Amateur Trail Pleasure class to also offer a Four-Year-Old & Under Open Trail Pleasure class (click here to read October 31, 2008 meeting story).
The NHSC heard from their Pleasure Committee at today's meeting and voted to change their previous vote and keep the trail pleasure division amateur exhibitors only.
A complete recap of the actions taking place at the NHSC meeting will be posted.
