The National Horse Show Commission voted 7 to 1 to sign the Operating Plan with the proposed amendments in a meeting today held earlier than the regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting was scheduled to be held at 3 p.m., but after the Walking Horse Trainers Association meeting ended earlier than expected, with a vote of 108-43 to sign the Operating Plan, the NHSC convened their meeting early.
The Report was not in attendance, but later learned that Kim Bennett was the sole dissenting vote. Bennett is an alternate to the National Horse Show Commission who was sitting in today for George Greenup, who was out of town and not able to attend the meeting.
The NHSC released the decision today, but did not release the vote count.
