MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The International Grand Championships introduced its first Novice Night Horse Show on Sept. 24, 2008, at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Judging this event were Newton Parks, Ronnie Vincent and Scott Beaty. One hundred and thirteen entries came to the show to try to walk out of the novice division. “We were very pleased with the turn out for our first Novice Horse Show and we will continue to work over the fall and winter to put together a circuit of novice shows for the 2009 show season,” said Mark Taylor.

The last class of the evening was the $30,000 Claiming class. Nineteen entries showed up to exhibit for top honors and to be claimed by a new owner. Real Bad Score and Knox Blackburn wore the tricolor and floral horseshoe out of the arena for David and Erin Graf.
