Avis Booth Efird, 93, wife of the late John W. Efird, entered into rest on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019 at Agape Hospice House in Lexington, South Carolina.
She is survived by her daughter Johnnie Ann Efird; grandson, Efird A. (Marcie) Johnson; great grandchildren, Brayley and Brenden Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Rennie and Myrtle Booth; and daughter, Landis E. Johnson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019 at 3 p.m. at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery with the Rev. Alan Quarles officiating. The interment will immediately follow.
The family will receive friends following the service at the Bessie Pearl Williams Building of the St. John United Methodist Church in Graniteville.
Pallbearers will be: Mels Faulkner, Jr., Martin Posey, Mike Moyer, Morris Pinley, Clay Whitt and Thomas Franklin.
