Obituary And Arrangements - Brice Edwin "Eddie" Baucom

Brice Edwin "Eddie" Baucom, 76 years of age, of Monroe, NC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 with his family by his side.
Eddie was born October 16, 1938 in Union County to the late Ed Baucom and the late Bonnie Little Baucom. He was also preceded in death by sister, Doris Tarlton.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Friday, April 17, 2015 at Friendship United Methodist Church, 4695 Mt. Pleasant Road South, Concord, NC 28025. The funeral service, officiated Rev. Roger Armistead, will follow at 3:00 PM, Friday in the church sanctuary. Interment will be in the church cemetery, with military honors being conducted by Post 440 of New Salem and the North Carolina National Guard Honor Guard.
At other times the family will be gathering at the home.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Wadene Baucom; son, Chad Baucom and wife, Rhonda; grandsons, Tyler Baucom, and Blake Hull and wife, Elizabeth; granddaughter, Kayla Baucom; great-granddaughter, Jordyn Elizabeth Hull; sisters, Kathy Grayson, Bonnie Williams and husband, Danny; brothers, Donald Baucom, Roddie Baucom and wife, Kathy; many nieces and nephews; and Jeanette Baucom, mother to Kayla and Tyler Baucom.
Eddie graduated from Fairview High School in Monroe, NC. He was the founder of Baucom Stables where he trained and showed Tennessee Walking Horses for over 25 years. He was an Army Veteran. He was a loyal member of his church, Friendship United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant where he was an active member in the United Methodist Men's Group and the New Life Sunday School Class.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe NC 28110 and to Friendship United Methodist Church, 4695 Mt. Pleasant Road, Concord, NC 28025.
