Billy Stanfill was born in Reagan, Tennessee on August 26, 1937 the son of the late Cletus Franklin and Mary Blanche Jones Stanfill.

On February 13, 1955 he was united in marriage to Ruby Nell Vise, who survives.

Mr. Stanfill was a horse owner and breeder, land trader, and cattle farmer. He also was the owner of Savannah Ready-Mix, S&S Asphalt, and S&S Auto Sales. Mr. Stanfill was a resident of Reagan, Tennessee from 1937 to 1960, Savannah until 1994, and then he moved to Lexington, Tennessee. He was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and was a member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Association. Mr. Stanfill was a generous, loving and kind man who believed in Jesus Christ. He loved his family and his pets, Prissy and Trixie, and his cows and horses. Mr. Stanfill was an avid animal lover and was always willing to help those in need. His priority was always family and God first.

He departed this life on December 28, 2017 at his residence in Lexington, Tennessee at the age of 80 years, 4 months, and 2 days.

In addition to his wife, Ruby of 62 years, he is survived by his children, Ronnie Wayne Stanfill and his wife Judy of Lexington, Tennessee, Vickie Nell Stanfill of Nashville, Tennessee, Jerry Ralph Stanfill of Lexington, Tennessee and Theresa Ann Stanfill of Nashville, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Stephen Stanfill and his wife Julia, Stephanie Cagle and her husband Jerrod, Seth Stanfill and his wife Jesse, Tiffany Stanfill and her husband Jeff, JeriAnn Parker and her husband Scotty and Christopher Stanfill eleven great grandchildren, Colby Cagle, Drake Stanfill, Shae Stanfill, Cooper Stanfill, Spence Stanfill, Carly Cagle, Ana Beth Stanfill, Carson Cagle, Cayson Cagle, Jaselyn Parker, and Sadie Grace Stanfill one brother, Max Ray Stanfill and his wife Sally of Lexington, Tennessee four sister, Betty McPeak of Nashville, Tennessee, Margaret Grooms and her husband Billy Joe of Saltillo, Tennessee, Peggy Wentworth of Lexington, Tennessee, and Wanda Townsend and her husband Larry of Parson, Tennessee

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Franklin Enlo Stanfill and his grandparents, Riley and Maggie Stanfill, and Burt and Emma Jones.
