Obituary – Carolyn Asbury Dysart

Carolyn Asbury Dysart, age 89, of Smith Farm Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, August 28, 2023.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Boger City United Methodist Church with Rev. Ronnie Roseboro and Rev. Dr. Tim Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
Mrs. Dysart was born August 31, 1933, in Lincoln County, to the late Hugh Jennings Asbury and Mary Arney Asbury. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Warren Dysart. Carolyn worked for the Lincoln County Schools.
She is survived by a daughter, Kelly D. Duschel of Lincolnton; sister, Shirley Combs of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Ensign Nicholas Duschel of Bahrain, Jessi Duschel and Caitlyn Duschel of Lincolnton; and nephew, Robbie Combs of Lincolnton.
Memorials may be made to Boger City United Methodist Church, 2320 E. Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
