Curtis Hamilton, 73, of Easley, South Carolina, a long-time farrier and blacksmith, died Nov. 1. of complications following an emergency Appendectomy. Hamilton was well-known for his innovative horseshoes and pads used by blacksmiths all over the country. He is survived by his wife, Doris and a son, Chris Hamilton, two sisters, Kathryn Cartee and Helen Looper. Robinson Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Grave side services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Nov. 4, at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
