The Report has recently learned of the passing of World Champion Disarmed. The beautiful sorrel mare was owned and loved by Joan Kemp and Casee Bush for most of her life. She was 17 years old.

Affectionately known as “Blondie,” she was foaled on April 14, 2000 and sired by Gen’s Armed and Dangerous. Under the direction of Campbell Stables, she won her first blue ribbon at the West Alabama Walking and Racking Show in the Amateur Three-Year-Old class with Joan Kemp in the irons.

Disarmed amassed 34 blue ribbons throughout her show ring career with Ross Campbell, Joan Kemp, Gerald Campbell and Casee Bush sharing saddle time. In 2010, Casee Bush directed “Blondie” to a World Championship title at the Celebration, claiming top honors in the Owner-Amateur Novice Riders on Novice Park Pleasure Mares class.

“Blondie” will be deeply missed by the Kemp, Bush and Campbell families.
