Obituary – Earl McCoy

Earl McCoy, 69, of Lancaster, passed away August 22, 2023 at Ft. Logan Hospital in Stanford, Kentucky. He was born on January 26, 1954 to the late Raymond and Hilda Epperson McCoy. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Adams McCoy.
Earl retired from WestRock after 40 years. He loved old cars, fishing, and dirt bike riding. Above all, his faith and family were the most important things in his life.
Along with his wife, Bonnie, surviving is his son, Rocky McCoy of Lancaster; two brothers, Hadrin McCoy (Jeanie) of Michigan and Wendell McCoy (Cheryl) of Wilmore; two sisters, Carolyn Leonard (Gary) of Lancaster and Joyce Reinheimer (Mike) of Lancaster and a granddog, Hank.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Norma McCoy.
Funeral services will be 12pm Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jonathan Grizzell and Pastor/Evangelist James McCarroll officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Friday, August 25, 2023 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Broadus, Ronnie Barnes, Tommy Hafley, Bo Grugin, Earl D. Harrison, and Mike Reinheimer.
Memorial contributions are preferred to Heritage Hospice.
