James Carroll Robinson, 60, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, passed away January 22, 2002, following an extended illness. He was a retired tool and die maker for General Electric in Louisville, a farmer and a minister at Leitchfield Chrisitian Church. He attended and was a member of Anderson Chrisitian Church. Funeral services were held at Gash’s Memorial Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg.

His love for the Walking Horse had an impact on his family, especially his daughter Tina, who began in juvenile ranks and still competes today. The family tradition her father started is being continued by his family. James Carroll was a devout Chrisitian and family man who will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann, his daughter Tina Thompson, son Tim Robinson, and five grandchildren.
