Obituary - Jo Ann Dietz



Jo Ann Dietz, 75, of New Castle, Ind., died Wednesday April 7, 2004. She had resided in New Castle for the past 57 years. She was born in Hustonville, Ky. There she met and married her high school sweetheart Joe Dietz. They would have been married 58 years in May.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph; two sons, Michael Dietz, his wife Bonita, and Gregory Dietz and his wife, Nancy, both of New Castle; one daughter, Sherri Ward and her husband, Darrell of Harrodsburg, Ky; three grandchildren, Travis Dietz and Mason and Caleb Ward; two great grandchildren; one brother; and one sister.

Joe and JoAnn Dietz owned many great horses which include The Pusher, Reve's Little Boy, Ebony's Go Go Girl, Eb's Moonlight Lady, Rave and Warwick. They have won 16 world championships since buying their first Tennessee Walking Horse in 1969. She will be greatly missed. Any memorials may be sent to the charity of your choice.
